Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Theresa has always had an eye for
beauty and fashion. Ever since she was little, she dresses in
her mom's clothing, experimented with her hair, and applied
her mom's cosmetics. These early years would be the start of
a love affair with all things beauty and fashion. While in
Taiwan, Theresa trained in hair and makeup artistry. After she
obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Economics from UC Irvine,
Theresa pursued advanced hair and makeup artistry
training at the prestigious Cinema Makeup School. She
honed her skills through working with other stylists. Her beauty IQ increased while working for a world-renown cosmetic company. It was during this period she discovered her own personal style and became a master in her craft. Combining her business acumen with her creative talent, Theresa established her own agency. Her experience ranges from fashion/music video shoots, editorials, weddings, and other events. Theresa has worked with numerous celebrity personalities such as the Black Eyed Peas and Priscilla Anh. She has also graced the covers of numerous fashion and wedding magazines.



“I want to design a look that expresses my client,” says Theresa. She truly believes in the natural beauty within each client and aspires to enhance it. Theresa’s beauty philosophy is to design a look that fits her client from inside out. She would go the extra mile to get to know her client's style & personal characteristics. Forming a bond is important because a stylist works closely with each client. "A good stylist listens to the client's voice", Theresa states, "but also provides ideas."



Theresa understands that many clients cannot get bookings with her personally because she can at most only serve a couple of weddings on one particular day. She wanted to find a solution for those brides that appreciate her work, but could not obtain her services. Thus, she assembled a team of highly qualified stylists with experience in various industries such as fashion, entertainment, and wedding. Theresa gives training workshops for her stylists to ensure that her team performs high quality work and keeps up with current trends. With great communication skills and professional attitudes, her stylists are able to provide professional service for any event.

Makeup was never my thing growing up. I was practically raised as a
tomboy. It asn't until I was 16 yrs. old when I was formally exposed to the up.
Under the persuasion of the makeup artist, for the first time I had my
eyebrows sharpened. And that little encounter made huge a impact to my
life, which made me instantly fall in love with the makeup industry, and that's
when I began to take notice of other people's makeup and hair, and started
practicing on my friends, families, and myself. Soon after, I became the go-to
girl for all my friends’ makeup and hair styling.

Among all kinds of makeup artistry, I am especially fond of the bridal makeup.
I just love everything about weddings! In Taiwan, I had the opportunity to
observe and be trained by different stylists working in the bridal makeup and
hair industry. Eventually I developed my own bridal hair & makeup philosophy
which is: Good makeup and hair should enhance and polish a bride's natural
beauty rather than dramatically altering a person's look.

In the last two years working with Theresa, I have worked with many brides
and participated in different bridal magazine photo shoots. Each single bride
and project is unique and important to me. I am always so excited and
thankful to be part of the brides’ most important day. And I can't wait to share
my vision with my future brides!

I have worked in the beauty industry for 5 years and 2 years with
Theresa. I studied at the Makeup Designory in Burbank, CA. My interest
in hair & makeup started at a really young age, I have always been so
intrigued by the transformation by what hair & makeup can do to a
woman, especially a bride! Helping my high school friends do their hair &
makeup really pushed to towards this industry. And that’s where I knew
my talent lied.

I have worked with many brides with Theresa and also did a photoshoot
which was featured in Serendipity Magazine. I am truly inspired by this
industry, especially being an important part of the brides’ big day, and

Christy possesses an originality that sets her apart from the rest. She is well
known for her light touch that makes the face look fresh and bright, unveiling
and optimizing each individual's natural beauty. Her work displays a
concentration on clean, enhanced, natural beauty with modern, light and
“chic” make up techniques that are keys to her success. Aside from her
obvious talent, Christy’s vitality and the delight she brings to every job add
an unparalleled edge to her work.

Born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, California surrounded by
beauty and fashion. Christy was infatuated with the idea of being able to
make a woman beautiful through make up. She began to look at magazines,
collect tear-sheets of fine make-ups and started drawing faces at an early
age. She grasped the ability to understand the lines and contours of the face
while experimenting with color.

To carry on her dream as a make up artist she attended a prestigious school at Make Up Designory. After graduating, she quickly adapted to this industry by collaborating with well-known photographers and artists.

1. { Mrs. Flawless! }
Get serious about skin care: start a proper skin care system that suites your skin, consider consulting a dermatologist or making appointments for monthly facials. Exfoliate your skin once a week from now with a favorite product you've used before. Have your final facial 2 weeks before your wedding.

2. { Jump-Startology }
Eat right & exercise! You'll look great, feel better, and be less stressed out. Load up on fruits and veggies for energy. Nix the salt and fat then puffiness will be gone. If you'd like to lose weight before your wedding, consult your doctor to develop a nutrition and fitness plan. Set a weight-loss goal and meet it before your dress fittings begin. Once fittings are underway, you'll need to maintain your weight.

3. { Pile Up Z’s }
Do not sleep later than 12 midnight even if your wedding is after lunch. Swollen and tired eyes are hard to conceal.

4. { Oh Well Bummber }
Relax & laugh you must! Everyone wants a perfect wedding, but you’re likely to enjoy it more if you let go of that expectation. Anticipate possible problems and plan for them in advance. Research proves that laughter is a great stress reliever, and a good giggle can even boost your immune system. After all, when the wedding is over, leave happy for your honeymoon!

Get your hair trimmed. No experimenting within 2 months before your wedding, just stick to the look you love. Get a bikini wax and shave those legs a week or two before the wedding. You want to be prepared for that honeymoon lingerie.

Get your brows groomed by a professional. If you’ve never had your eyebrows shaped, start two months in advance to perfect the look. Schedule final treatment at least 3 days before your wedding so they wouldn't look red or bumpy on the big day.

Less is more! You want to look like yourself. But realize you’ll want the makeup pro to apply your makeup a bit darker than normal. Photographs can make you look washed out.

Wear sunscreen everyday. Seeking out a moisturizer with a built-in SPF (15 or higher, please!) is a foolproof way to make sure you incorporate it into your daily routine.

Stay shine but not shiny! Camera will pick up oily and red spots. Light makeup will definitely give radiance to your skin and help getting rid of the unwantedness. Remind your man to get his hair trimmed 2 weeks before.

We recommend you book immediately after you have identified your wedding date. Our clients typically book us 6 - 8 months in advance to ensure availability.

We understand every client is unique and needs specialized services to fulfill their needs. We always provide a customized service package tailored to every individual client. We offer high quality services at a reasonalbe rate. We will do our best to work with you to meet your budget for this once in a lifetime event. We strongly encourage you to select your hair and makeup services primarily on quality rather than cost.

Yes, a preview service is available at a reasonable fee. We believe it is a valuable service. In the preview appointment, the client could insure their wedding appearance(s). We will assist our clients to design the specific style(s) suitable to her wedding dress(es) and personality. A preview appointment is usually performed at the clients earliest convenience, but it is strongly recommended to book your wedding services sooner than the preview to ensure availability. { Recommened service time: 3 to 4 hours. }

We encourage clients to bring all information during the preview appointment, including but not limited to, photographs of ideal style(s), wedding dresses (regardless of decided or undecided), accessories and jewelries. All information is valuable during the preview appointment and we will work closely with clients to design the style with the information on hand.

It is our duty to work around our clients' concerns. We are known for designing makeup that brings out our brides' natural beauty. The customized look will be suitable to the personality and character of our client. We strive to design a style that is up to our client’s utmost satisfaction.

All of the products we use are of the best quality available. We selected ARMANI & MAKEUP FOREVER as our priority brand of makeup products. However, we do utilize other brands, including but not limited to, NARS, MAC, Smash Box, Benefit, Tarte, Urban Decay. We are familiar with all the different brands and will utilize the strength of each brand on our client.

It really depends on how many services you request and how much time we are allotted. The typical time frame is approximately 4 hours for the entire wedding party. The rule of thumb is 2.5 hours for the bride and 1.5 hours per bridesmaid/mother. We do detailed work on everyone in your party.

Another great reason for choosing our company is that we have timing down to a science. We will provide multiple stylists on set to work with our client’s time frame.

Our stylists are highly trained professionals with a multitude of experience in the industry. They are all graduates of prestigious make-up and hair schools. We offer services to any client who would like to be pampered. However, we do require a minimum of 6 services (makeup as one service and hair as one service) for on location service. This allows us to be more effective and cost efficient with our services.
