Iris + Justin couldn't have had their vintage inspired wedding in a better place then at the Marvimon! I just love how clean their wedding looked with the pops of dark red! And how STUNNING are her shoes, they looked absolutely breathless! And just love how she put feathers on her cake and the color she chose for her bridesmaids dress! Who isn't a fan of grey! Our Labor of Love by Heidi did such a beautiful job in capturing the beautiful bride! The portraits are breathless and the details are simple! Just can't get enough of this wedding! And Iris looked so beautiful and glowed with so much joy on her wedding day!

Jung Hwa + Henry had such a magnificent wedding held at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena! We absolutely love this venue and is one of our all time favortie places to get brides ready for their big day! I just love all the detailed and candid shots Junshien took from the bride getting ready to the stunning red dress Jung Hwa changed into for her tea ceremony and second half of their reception! Their decor was so beautiful and elegant and has that "wow' factor! The bride and her groom had so much fun dancing the night away! Absolutley beautiful!!

I'm so giddy to be able to share with you this dreamy encore shoot, shot by the talented Caroline Tran ! I really love it when a couple is willing to spend that extra few bucks to do an encore session. Not only does the bride get to wear her dress again, but it's reliving the moment again, and the shoot is much more intimiate and slow. On the wedding day, the pictures are generally candid and portraits are shot pretty fast, but an encore shoot can really focus on couple more intimately.
Caroline+Mason are so charming and I really enjoyed looking at their encore shoot. They decided with Photographer Caroline to go back to their venue to take their shot, since it's so intimate and it has so many gorgeous places to take pictures. She even asked her florist to replicate her bouquet for the shoot! Absolutely breathless!

It is an absolute opulent hotel and offers so much from the amazing ceremony sites to the banquet rooms and let's not forget about the VIEW!
jane + jarrad's wedding was shot by Sean Mason , he did such an impeccable job! Every picture was so pristine, neat, and flawless! Jane's bridal party was also stunningly gorgeous, from their vibrant red dresses, to the bride's red glittered shoes! I also love how the groomsmen had fun with their socks, and all decided to wear different colored striped socks.

Last Thursday we posted Jiami + Stephen's adorable engagement shoot Here If you haven't looked at it make sure you go and take a peek! Like I promised here are Jiami + Stephen's gorgeous wedding! Their wedding is full of purple and personal details! I really love her idea of putting younger pictures of themselves in photoframes and hanging them on the chairs down the aisle! Not only does it serve as a decoration for the aisle, but it also helps the guest differentiate which side belongs to the groom and which side belongs to the bride!
Jiami is such a simple bride, from her hair to her makeup. She knew exactly what she wanted and couldn't look prettier on her wedding day. And her whole wedding party looked absolutely spectacular. I really love the men in grey suits with the pop of purple in their ties and bouts.

I love watching same-day edit videos, especially during the wedding, because you get to re-live the moment again and also your guests who missed the ceremony get to also be part of it. Lena + David's wedding is nothing short but beautiful and elegant! They had their wedding at the Kyoto Grand Hotel in Los Angeles. It is such a beautiful venue with a lot of culture.
I love the way this video was shot, and it's so sentimental and touching. I really love the details Impressive Creations were able to capture and bring to life. Lena's dress is also stunning and gorgeous on her, it really fit her perfectly. And their vows are so beautiful and sincere, it's one of those moments that make you tear up. On Tuesday I showcased Christine + James' Save the Date for their wedding back in September! I'm really excited to show off their wedding, it was nothing but beautiful! If you didn't guess it, they had their wedding at the Union Station in L.A.! It is definitely one of the best and unique venue to have your wedding at. It has so much history, and really it's a venue that requires little decoration. I really love how the couple sat underneath a lit up "LOVE" sign and everything was just so personal at this wedding. I also adore their dessert table and love their cake! Everything about their wedding is detail, detail, detail! Love it!

Can't believe it's already going to be Thursday tomorrow! I was so thrilled to get these wedding pictures from Felicia Perry!! Kristen and Michael's wedding is so simple but yet gorgeous! Felicia did such a great job in capturing the details at the wedding. I just love how felicia took the time to capture even the littlest things, such as Kristen's garter.

I think that it is great when a bride decides to do an encore session with her wedding dress. Not only do you get to wear it again, but you get to relive the memories and feelings on the day of your wedding. A bride's wedding dress is the hardest purchase yet! A bride can easily spend thousands but yet only wear it for one night, not even a whole day. So this shoot is just so brilliant shot by the wonderful Caroline Tran! The shoot took place at The LA Arboretum, and the way the sun was shining through the orange groves were just magnificient.
Grace has such a easy-going personality and her sense of fashion is out of this world, and you can see that by her dress and shoe choice. She has an elegance to her that I just adore!

I feel like I'm always swooned looking at Jeanne and Russ engagement (check out the pictures here). Totally digging the shots of the couple roaming around the town on a motorcycle and yes, the wedding shots apparently just can't get any less sweeter than that!
Just take a look at how spectacular the colorful flowers are being juxtaposed against a backdrop of clean, white dress! I love how they can add splashes of colors to the whole outfit and still mantain a classic without looking too overbearing.

When Adrienne Gunde posted this engagement shoot on her blog I was so in love with the concept! And not only was the concept great but it was one of our brides! Kelley and Edmund created such a unique engagement shoot and I really love how they incorporated such pop of colors to such a neutral scenary! Their inspiration for these balloons was none other than the movie "UP." "UP" has been such an inspiration for so many brides this season, with it's balloons and the story. I really adore the idea.

Today I bring you an engagement shoot that is so pretty! Sophie and Daniel shot their engagement shoot at three different locations in L.A., which all are pretty well known! I love how they changed up their wardrobe three times in order to match the backdrop! I just love all of Sophie's dress choices!
I've got to say that my absolute favorite is the pink one she wore at the L.A. Union Station! It just really brings out her skin color and it's the perfect color for the season!

This next engagement shoot is such so breathtaking, that it gives me goosebumps! It's so original and all the pictures are just absoultely gorgeous. I always love engagement shoots that are shot in fields and in a neutral tone but yet have pops of color like the Balloons! They are such an absolutely cute couple! Anita and Eric's engagement shoot is so creative and special! They took their pictures in the beautiful city of Pasadena. Anita had written an email to Adrienne Gunde about her vision for her shoot and included the worlds " vintage time-travel machine" and "hourglass stool." These words started making my imagination go crazy! Such simple words, but yet so much can out of it.
I really love all the pictures Adrienne took of the cute couple. Anita and Eric are two lovebirds that are so creative and so in love. I love all their props especially that hourglass stool! And her dress is so pretty and fits the whole theme really well!

I hope you guys all enjoyed Mother's day as much as I did! Although the weather hasn't been really nice, it was a great day to have brunch on the sidewalk at a nice cafe. Can't believe it's almost summer time, which only means one thing, WEDDING SEASON! I can't wait start going to all these weddings and making the brides gorgeous as can be.
A month ago, I received Sandy & Chris's Engagement shoot, and they could not be anymore cuter! Their photos were shot by the lovely Judy Tran. Judy's pictures are always so simple, but yet they tell a story! She really knows how to showcase the couples personality and bring out the silliness in them.

Can't believe it's already Wednesday! This week is just flying by! But for you readers out there who are struggling to get over this middle of the day of the week, we have a lovely, silly engagement shoot for you. Although it's blistering hot here in L.A., looking at these pictures makes me forget about the heat.
Jessica and Brandon are by far one of the silliest couples I have met. They both met at UCLA, which is where their pictures started, and eventually ended at the Santa Monica Pier. Their pictures really showed their silly personalities, especially their fishy face one. Their photos where shot by the great team Atrero Photography. Jessica is so pretty and easy-going, and has a really outgoing personality! They are such a cute couple and are so perfect together!

Marichi Mani's Shoes
Last year, I had the honor to work with Caroline Tran on a fashion photo shoot for Marichi Mani's Shoes. These pictures were also featured as a full ad, on both Teen Prom and Seventeen Prom Magazine.
I have always loved shoes and to be part of this shoot was amazing. A pair of shoes can really define your personality and your mood. If you're getting ready to go out of town, you wouldn't wear sneakers, but you would find your highest pair of heels. These pictures really define each pair of shoes and the personality it excudes from our model, Ahsley.
Shoes are such a huge part of a wedding, and choosing the "right" pair can sometimes be such a headache. But once you find that right pair or two, you'll know. I hope these pictures can serve as an inpriation for you bride-to-be's out there! :D

This week's inpiration|swooning is going to be quite long! We were absolutely capitvated by the below weddings! Since we've been so head over heels with anything glitter and sequins and the color Gold, this wedding shoot is nothing but filled with it! I just love the bouquet and the reception decor, especially the cake table! And I definitely have a thing for walls will paper flowers, which leads us to the next wedding! This bridal party didn't go with the traditional bouquet but opted out for these GORGEOUS flower papers! And I really adore how they used parasols as ceremony decorations! And how cute is the next outfit and and how stunning is that picture of the model! So flawless and effortless! And i absolutely love this bride's cute wedding dress and her candy buffet! and to end the post some yummy cupcakes with laced liners!

Can't believe Christmas is only a few weeks away! Definitely behind on some necessary Christmas shopping! During this holiday season, I always love seeing neutral, champage, and hints of sequins in anything! It's not too bold but it's not too dull! I'm starting off this post with this stunning photo that infuses that neutral look but yet the centerpiece is really focused on her hairpiece! And to brighten up the mood, how cute is that bag! If we could only eat cake everyday for breakfast! And i just adore these favor boxes, just a perfect mixture of pink & grey. This week has been literally a "whirlwind!" Good thing our Pasadena studio is still going strong and has electricity! Yay for old buildings! Since it was such a windy week we thought we show some outdoor/garden wedding inspirations! And we're going to start off with this beautiful white cake with a stunning flower decor on it! And how awesome is it to have a wedding lakeside, so dreamy! And a beautiful tented reception filled with a variety of vintage fabrics hanging above. And couldn't you die for Chevron patterns! They make any wedding pop and absolutely in love with the way the bride + groom used it in their reception! And don't even get me started on billy ball's absolute one of my top favorite flowers! And again, PEONIES! and to end it with this stunning dress!!

To start off I really just love the retro decor in this reception! From the color to the centerpieces nothing was an overkill and it just looked subtle but yet very fancy! And as you know i'm always so swooned by bridal bouquets and always have to throw in one or two! And how about that gorgeous chandlier reception area! It is absolutely stunning and so grand! And did you spy the game the bride and groom had at their wedding! So brilliant! And how cute are those mini champagne bottles! it's a must have for a bridal shower!

This week I've been so absolutely in love with soft pale colors! I love how soft and clean the colors are. I especially love it when the bride uses these pale colors with white being the base! It just makes everything so whimsical and elegant. Pale pinks/peach, teals, and greys would definitely be in my top 3 palettes I love seeing in weddings!

I am so happy it's finally the weekend! Although we'll be busy, it's always a relief when it's Friday! Caroline Tran recently shot a wedding that was absolutely stunningly gorgeous! I love weddings that incorporate so many vintage details! I am so absolutely in love with every detail the bride used! I can only imagine the amount of work it took to collect and put all these items together! And I just adore the bottom two hairstyles, and thought it would fit perfectly into the vintage theme, their both very casual, but yet sophiscated enough. And wouldn't it be cute to ask your bridesmaids on a custom hankie? or even use them as favors for your guests! It goes so perfectly with the vintage theme! Love it!

Lately i've been seeing so many evolving bridal hair styles. A lot of brides don't go down the traditional path, and are more daring in their hairstyles. Wether it be incorporating braids, or teasing to acheive that "messy" updo look. I love when brides are willing to let the artist experiment with their hair, it not only shows trust but it allows are artists to be more creative.

Here are some swoons to start off this wonderful hot/humid/sunny day in Cali! To start off, I really adore when the bride and groom take their time to create a custom invitation suite that includes personal touches! The wedding invitation suite below is so cute and personal and really love all the details they put into it from the colors used, to their awesome map, manila tags, and the calligraphied envelope! and what about balloons...everytime you look at them it just makes you want to go buy one! Especially those really big ones!
And for some reason the colors orange and peach have been popping out to me lately and I love the candy/buffet dessert below, it's so vibrant and full of character. It just makes everything feel so summery, especially when you add salt water taffy and fresh fruit on there. And to go with the summer look, I would love to wear my hair like the one below everyday! It's just so relaxed and beachy.
And did you look at the cut out invitation! So unique and special! I would be so delighted to receive an invitation like that in the mail. or see a bride wear that gorgeous Vera Wang gown!

Happy Friday Readers! We're in the middle of August and wedding season is still going strong! We have so many gorgeous weddings coming up this September and October and can't wait to share it with you all!

And did you take a second look at those gorgeous heels..if not i tempt you to go look again! And what about personalized wedding hangers..they are such great bridal party gifts! It's finally Friday and I have found plenty of inspiration and swoons for you brides out there! I have been swooning over the images below and am so in love with some of the color schemes such as yellow and grey, and the rainbow of color pencils. I also really enjoy flowers that are so clean and vintage like the centerpiece below. And the bouquet the bride is holding is just so whimsical. I have always loved the color yellow and especially love it on the wedding cake. Yellow really just makes anything pop and i'm always a big fan at seeing it in weddings.
Also, did you take a double take on that gorgeous wedding gown below. I love how it's so simple but yet has so much character without having to much details. And to spice up the neutral colors I thought I throw in a pink themed table set-up! Really enjoy the way they decorated this table with such subtle pink and pops of gold and black.

Can't believe it's Friday already and what's even better is that it's a LONG WEEKEND! What are your plans for 4th of July?
This week has been a busy one and definitely was swooned by many different images from glitter/sequined dresses to colorful color pencils, to the beautiful white reception decor. Make sure you check out the 2nd last picture because it is by far my favorite and most inviation suite I have ever seen. And don't you just feel so girly when looking at the pink + purple inspriation board! LOVE IT! I feel like these days many things inspire me, since we're at an age where things that use to be considered mismatched are now the "it" style, which I love.

Today we're going to show off BHLDN's amazing pick of shoes! All there shoes are so unique and they have something for every bride. I've picked a few that have caught my attention and would definitely wear at my wedding. I think I would have more shoes to change then dresses! I know it's not Friday yet...BUT i am absolutely SWOONING over Kate Spade's Bridal Collection! I've been eyeing a couple of pieces lately and absolutely love and adore it. I just love all the little details that were put into the dresses, accessories, and espcially the shoes! Glitter is such a big detail in weddings now (more to come on friday) and Kate Spade has definitely placed it in the right places!

Last Week I featured BHLDN's. Wedding Dresses..and now I'm on to sharing another important aspect of the wedding..DECORATION! It's really important to choose your decoration carefully. It's SHOWTIME! Makeup Workshop - Dec 4 & 5
Hi Ladies!!
The holidays are just around the corner and that means a lot of nice dinners, reunions and dance parties! Therefore, looking fabulous is always a MUST! But, how do we apply makeup for different occasions and make it stand out more than usual? Many of my clients shared their concern with me that they only knew how to apply one kind of makeup for themselves. While I'm sure that is the look that suites their features the best, wouldn't it be awesome to play with different colors of eye shadows and discover a whole new different side? Many friends have told me that they love how I have different looks every time they see me. My secret is to be open minded when it comes to makeup!
I’m having my first holiday makeup workshops on both December 4 & 5 from 2 pm to 6 pm!! It is a four-hour workshop where you can actually get hands-on practice and receive personalized advice from my pro team. I’ve been planning this makeup workshop for quite a while and the main reason I’m doing this is for all the ladies to come and explore the creative and colorful makeup that they have usually shied away from. I want to show there is no need to be afraid of creative makeup. Aren't we all envious of the runway or Vogue magazine models and want to try those looks at least once?
In becoming a good stylist, I followed the fashion shows to keep myself updated with the latest fashion trends. I always wondered how creative makeup would look on me. Don't you have the same thought? Don't you want to experience it yourself? Here comes your chance! Let this holiday season be a good excuse for all the ladies (including me) to be your own runway makeup artist and unleash your inner GLAM!
